Terms of Use
1. Scope
These terms govern use of the lingrada.app website and its features. The provider is the controller named in the imprint.
2. Service; beta / early access
Lingrada is in an early beta (early access). The live-audio function is currently being rolled out with pilot guides; paid plans include access to this beta. As the product is under active development, there is no claim to uninterrupted availability, freedom from defects, or any particular feature set; individual features may change.
3. Paid services; cancellation and refunds
Paid plans are directed exclusively at businesses within the meaning of Section 14 of the German Civil Code (BGB) — i.e. natural or legal persons acting, when entering into the contract, in the course of their trade or independent professional activity (in particular professional tour guides and tour operators, including those based outside Germany) — not at consumers. For paid plans (beta access), the prices and service descriptions shown during checkout apply. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period, in the customer portal. Refunds for billing periods already begun are excluded unless there is a statutory entitlement.
Sale, payment processing and invoicing are handled by Dodo Payments as Merchant of Record; to that extent, Dodo's contract and payment terms primarily govern the purchase. Our terms govern provision of the Lingrada service.
4. Content rights
All website content (text, design, the "Lingrada" mark, logos) is protected. Use beyond the intended viewing of the website requires our prior consent.
5. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, under the Product Liability Act, and for injury to life, body or health. For simple negligence we are liable only for breach of a material contractual duty (cardinal duty) and limited to the foreseeable, contract-typical damage. External links are the responsibility of their respective providers.
6. Applicable law; jurisdiction
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the state in which a consumer has their habitual residence remain unaffected.
These terms are concluded in German; the English, Spanish and French versions are provided for convenience only. In case of any discrepancy, the German version prevails.
7. Changes
We may amend these terms with future effect. The version published at the time of use applies. Last updated: 11 June 2026.
